Music on the Move is a family owned and operated business dedicated to providing music classes for families, daycare sites, and preschools in the Cedar Rapids area.

Lisa Klostermann, MT-BC has been surrounded by musicians and music her entire life.  She has been lucky enough to observe the far-reaching benefits of music both as a board certified music therapist and as a mom of twins.  Lisa is passionate about the power and importance of play, and truly enjoys facilitating parents having fun with their children through music.

Before staying home to play with her twins, Lisa earned her Music Therapy degree from the University of Iowa and worked with a wide variety of individuals, including children in special education with autism, developmental delays, and speech delays.  She has also made music with adults with developmental delays, older adults in nursing care and hospice, and a worked a stint as Interim Director of Music Therapy at West Music.  Lisa and her husband Chris enjoy playing with music (most recently the ukulele!) and their two kids!
